Voila....I finished it!!  Worked off and on for a week and a half and now it is done!  This is the herringbone pattern seen on Brumby Rockers in Marietta, GA.
I attended a craft class today at St. Andrew's Methodist Church.  Met my tatting friends there and we rotated through six different crafts.  This is the scarf  I made with eyelash yarn and others.  More to come!

My latest tatting project!  Will send to my Aunt Sarah who was 96 in January and still lives in her own home in Sweet Home, Oregon.  She enjoys seeing the tatting.

My new project...caning a rocking chair, Herringbone pattern, for a friend.  Caning the seat takes longer than the back.  Have 'fillers' to put in on the sides.  I started it on Monday and work on it off and on.  Think I'll have it ready by the first of the week!

My new latest project!  This is called The Dazzler.  It is made with 30, 4mm bicone crystals.  The first time I tried it was very frustrating!  Directions call for filament, 25 in. long, one end of filament painted with red fingernail polish.  Then the crystals are laid out in a line as you need them.  5,4,3,3,3,2,3,2,2,2,1.  Each time you put the crystals on, you check to see if there is a star design in the middle, formed by the crystals.  Sometime the beads are started on the red end, sometime the clear end.  Took a little practice!  Someone said you could find the pattern on 'youtube.' I was very pleased with this one, my second!

My latest project!  Our tatting instructor had learned to make these bracelets using crystals.  Crystazzi is the brand name.  It takes three sets of 4 mm, bicone crystals, 34 in each pack.  Needed, too, are two collapsible needles. Fun to make and not that difficult.
