Another 'dazzler' made for my special 96 year old aunt who lives in Oregon!  She loves my tatting and I think will appreciate this.
My latest tatting attempt!  I'll think I'm a 'real' tatter when I can pick up a pattern and do it right the first time!

I missed three out of eight of my classes at ELM, classes for people 50 and over at First Methodist in Marietta, GA. but will finish my rush caning at home.  I really prefer french caning or herringbone!

VOILA!!
I finished french caning the chair for my childhood friend! It doesn't usually take me so long but had the wrong size cane, had to get next size, went to Arkansas for our daughter's birthday and now...it is done!
Just a little more to go and I'll be finished!  Last class at ELM is tomorrow!

My first attempt at rush caning.  Trying times!  I love to French cane and Herringbone but this has about made me want to cuss!!  1/2 way through, hooray!

At the suggestion of my tatting teacher, I took two knitting needles, asked my neighbor to drill holes in a dowel rod and made a loom!  The copper one that I had used, belonging to a tatting friend, was great but why buy one when you can make one with supplies at home?
This is another hairpin lace scarf.  Lion Brand ribbon yarn is what I'm using.

A little edging I'm mastering inbetween learning rush caning and keeping all my plates up in the air!
