Step 3!!  Got the cane and will start on this chair asap.  Found out from fellow blogger that it is called a 'mule ear' chair.  I use the herringbone pattern on this type chair and it goes pretty fast.  When caning a Brumby Rocker, Marietta, GA. chair nationally known, I use the same thing.
